It's still reallyreally good.

Holy sheeeet!

A legend returns!!

Got a LOT of familiar NT flavors. Just a lil more 80s than I expected, and with the years its been, can't say I was expecting anything ':3

Haha, yeah, very 80s! Synthwave lent itself really well with these themes. Plus, who doesn't love some Synthwave, right? 😜

Pretty dang awesome dude.

Hit on both bases for me, it's exactly the kinda style of dnb I used to listen the shit out of during the mid 00s. And I friggin love Rick & Morty (was funilly enough wearing a Rick&Morty cap while I saw it and started listening, one with Snowball from the 2nd episode in the mech suit).

Anyhoo, good track. But too short, but not so much in the buttkissing way. At the last segment at 1:44 it really sounds like it going into the bridge, setting the expectation that the tracks gonna burst into the epic finale, but then it stops. Woulda been really cool to have like, an electric guitar in there, or some chiptune sounding thing, to take over the main-melody of the vocal. Maybe some dubstep sounds thrown in there in-between. And THEN closing it off, and maybe fading it out with the original vocals again.

But reading the struggles that went into making it, I could deffinetly see why you finished it when you did.

YeeeeeeeaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Welcome back, I missed your stuff.

If it makes Yotam kinda happy to know:
I knew his stuff from the 'Aristocrat Joke' way back then.
That made me check out where the audio came from. Then that was the first podcast I started listening to (rip wrecklessmediaradio). So he indirectly got me into listening to podcasts.

I really liked it, right up until the point where the track went al WHOPWHOPWHOPWHOP on me.

This deffinetly has that oldschool midi soundquality to it. Wich reminded me more of the early King Of Fighter games, like Terry's theme.
That midi-style could arguably be a bad thing, but to me, is a perfect example, that the tools and resouces don't matter as much as the hands they're handled in.

The rythm, melody and compossition are just solid. You could have the most epic high-production-value sounds to a track, but if the composition sucks, that might just be all tossed outa the window.

The last part from 00:39 sounded really solid. Could deffinetly see that being used in opening videos n stuff.

Why thank you, I used it for my halloween intro

Sounds pretty bad-ass. I could easily imagine this being used to a matrix/blade movie action scene.

Only thing i didn't like was the type of sound that the guitar had, that stepped in at 00:13.

I'm not quite sure bout what it is about the sound of that guitar but it doesn't quote resonate with the rest there. Maybe sounds alittle too flat and electronic instead of rough and growling if you catch my drift.

When the other drums kick in around 0:45, the drums do sound a little off. But I think it has it's charms, with the echo-ish build-up leading up to that. I think it would've sounded nice if you gave the rest (everythig except the drums that moment) a kind of muted sound, up until 0:56 (when the normal drums take over again). To give it a kind of vibe, like you've stepped out of the song and hear it like it's comming from someone's headphones from a little distance. To go and 'Get Into It' again at 0:56 (hehe, cleverly using the title, I'm like a total genious ';,D)

MavMusic responds:

The drums do sound off but i'm thinking of editing this song to tune down the drums and "give everything else that moment" as you say and ill try to take your tips and i REALLY like your idea of where i make it like you've stepped out of the song and hear it like its coming from someone's headphones then get into it again. I think that ideas great! thanks for that, it really helps me. and yes Guidodinho you are a total genius ;)
