Looks nice and clean, no real sloppy parts in it. Only visual part that i didn't like was when you zoomed in on the sprites, they looked kinda blurry. I think it would be better i you'd leave the sprites in solid pixels instead of letting them get smoothed.

And i don't wanna be a prick, but i think the music choice was rubbish. The first and the last songs were pretty good as they didn't sound too bad and fitted in the situation pretty well, but the second and third sounded absolutely horrible and they didn't fit the scene verry well.

I also didn't get much of the story. I'll let that slip because you already told us so and i'll expect it to be clearer the next time, But...(yes there's a but) i think you should find a way too cut down on the filesize so you can put more into one episode, because this one didn't really show that much, it did make me curious for the next one though. I suggest doing something about the audio since that's often the reason for a big filesize (i know because i had that problem myself :p).

Anyways, looking forward to understanding a bit more of the story and watching the fighting scene on the next episode.

But still a few things you might wanna keep in mind for your next animation: don't overdo it with the blurr effect, for example: at the beginning when mario was in the back and sonic closer in front, you switched focus by adding a blur to the one not focused on and showed the one focused on without that blur. The idea was good but you only need to add just a tiny bit of that blur to get the right effect.

The last thing: gravity, what do i mean with that? Well, when a character jumps, you use a motion tween to do that. Now that's not a bad thing but you should keep in mind that in the begining of the jump, the character goes up really fast and quickly slows down, then when he falls down his speed increases. You can do that by going to the timeline, klick on a frame between the two keyframes of the motion tween, go to properties and add a number at 'ease'. A positive number when he's going up and a negative number when he's going down. And if that doesn't work for ya, you might do it frame by frame.

choice of music was good, voice acting was good, story is good, backgrounds look great and the animation is....well....ehm...pretty much the best friggin animation there is on newgrounds, unless there's someone to prove me wrong, but i highly doubt that.

Just have one question though: why the heck don't i see a whole bunch of shiny trophies bashed on this page yet!?

I'm not really crazy about anime figures, if i had those i'd probably just let them stand on my desk or some shelf and let them collect dust, but you did something really cool with it, the pictures were taken from good distances, good angles and in good quality.
I also liked the effects you added, like the blurrs, the transparay and the glowing edges around the figures when they were spirits. It shows that you really put some time and attention into something that looks relatively simple.

If you ever wanna do something else with your anime figures, i suggest doing a stop-motion animation. I think that would look pretty darn awesome.

Really catchy song and really cute animation, and still in a way it doesn't look really, wich often happens with this cind of songs.

I really laughed my ass of at the part where the five character where naked in the cup en were two extra sensor bars popped up from bellow XD
It's just a kind of joke that little kids tend to overlook, that's what i like about good cartoons, they're perfect for kids but still have some adult humour in it.

That really beats the crap out of your average garden gnome. I just love how bad-ass it looks, and so detailed, especially the inside of the mouth, it's like it transformed from the game to the real world. If nintendo would make the piranha plants look like that in their games it would attract a lot more hardcore gamers.

I like like sprite animations, i really do. But now i know why other people hate sprite animations. Well to call this an animation would be a compliment wich isn't deserved. It's just a slideshow, i could do make better animations with msPaint and windows moviemaker (i have actually).

And what i really don't get is why other people are stupid enough to vote higher than a zero on this.
I mean, just look at it, there's nothing good about it at all: no quality in the animation what so ever (there isn't even an animation), no music, hardly any sounds and worst of all: YOU DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT YOURSELF!

Instead of uploading someone elses work (don't care if you got permission from the creator) why don't you remake it so that people can actually enjoy this.
Add music, make it an ACTUAL ANIMATION (not a slideshow), use voice actors instead of those crappy text bubbles wich don't fit in with the rest of the movie at all. You could even include the originall movies in it as an extra (since they aint shit in filesize).

I liked the other shorts too. But this just beat the living crap out of them!!
The animation if much more fluid, the effects are way better, GREAT camera work and much better story (it even HAD a story XD).

When he got out of jail and started running again it was kinda predictable that he'd crash into something but funny nonetheless.
