A phraise passed through me mind. It goes like this: 'If a person reffers to themselves in plural, some other folks may assume, they might be the types of people who would call the side, at a coin-toss. Sure, it seems like it should be allowed to call that option, but the odds of winning seem quite slim.'
And something could also be said about people who reffer to themselves in the third person.
Hmm, interesting. Would you say it's any less valid to choose the side?
Ngl, was not expecting an actualy sorta curious reply.
But kinda yes, not a very solid yes though, a little 'fluid' one huehehe. Like if you'd argue how many sides a coin has, I'd technically have to agree that there are 3.
I also think the metaphor kinda fits with the gender as a social construct argument, combined with those now kinda cliche bathrooms discussions. Where I think It's just feels pointless, because I believe the sepperations are there for purely technicall reasons. So I think in that context, genderneutral bathrooms are totaly rediculous concept, because the toilet spaces were never sepperated because of the socially constructed genders. It was made two accomodate the two different sexes. One bathroom for the penis people, so they don't have to sit down and quickly do their bussiness, also saves some space having to build less stalls, leaving extra space for the other vagina folks, who could use that extra space for a few more stalls, because they can't really pee standing up and may need some extra trash cans to leave some bloody tissues in (also combining the smells from that, with the smells that some badly kept penisses can produce, makes for an aromatic recipe for dissaster, trust my nose on that one bro).
So long story short. It really comes across to me as being very counterproductive by technically being correct, winning the discussion, but in practice, its just makes things unpractical for everybody at the end of the line.
