Just had to make it rhyme did't you?

With these lips, Mario's motivation finally makes sence.

Delicious shapes all'round.

Dayum.

That's mighty pretty!
Instantly saved it and set it as my phone's wallpaper for now ';3

That legitimely looks ready to go, to be put into Smash, or like an overhauled remake of SMRPG like Nintendo did with Link's Awakening (should almost be a no-brainer with how SMRPG looked originally, and how nintendo is on a streak of making games look like toys or crafted materials)..

The wood textures look just right for a little toy. Cloth texture on the hat looks good, and the one on the cape (not sure what material the cape is supposed to be, but it looks like the right one).

Only thing I doubt being the right decision is the arm-gun. It looks spot-on to fit with the eastethics, but it might look a little too good for its own good, if you know what I mean. Might have been a good cherry on the cake to have more of an arm-toy-blaster instead of a realistic miniature rifle-head attached.
But that's a matter of style and prefference, you could still try another arm-gun-thing and include a version of that, lol. People do it all the time with lewds anyways, posting same versions of one piece with/without dicks, with/without wet bits or different amounts of clothes.

NicoBros responds:

Ya right about all of that. As for the concept of it itself, I tried to do a mix version between Smashfied version and SMRPG version 3D models, and at the game concept art (and the official arts) shows that Geno's arm-gun is literally like that I did, so I wanted to do it exactly the same way it is.
Thanks for your lovely feedback!

Diabetis never looked so sexy.

I think you got away with having the foot in just that simple shape bacause of how pixely it is. More detailed, higher resolution & all that jazz and it propably would've looked weird. But usuallg when constructing feet, it probably (besides using refferences obviously) to build it up with simple shapes. I usually go for a circle on the ankle, a little wide bottomed cone hanging down from it, then connecting a flat rectangle angled towards where the foot should be poiting too.

One thing on anatomy where I often goof on myself is accidentaly making the torso a bit too stretched out. Wich I think you did a bit on this one too, if you compare the length of the torso with the legs. Good idea for that would be to find a similar pose, or any other pose standing up straight. Then draw some horizontal guidelines at shoulderheight, hips and at the feet or ankles, wich may help keeping the general proportions right. Hope that helps.

One nitpicky thing I personally didnt like looking up close. Is that the size of the pixels were smaller on the part of the tree on the bottom, made it look a little unfittingly smooth compared to the rest. And the light beams seemed to be perfectly straight angled lines istead of having fittingly pixelated edges, though not even that sure if that would've looked nice anyway.
But all in all. Still looks pretty pro, bro.

Absolutely love how those blues and pinks pop out of the green backdrop. The accecories look amazing and interresting as well. Absolutely not a fan of bunnyears n shit. But the way they're they're designed with the lil cherryblossoms in water looks amazing, same for the necklace. Could stare at those two for a pretty long time.

One silly complaint, probably the one who ordered the commission to blame for that. But the giant knockers bursting out of the otherwise lovely flowery shirt, kinda draw the focus away from the rest of the piece. Think it would've looked bit more elegant if it was buttoned up at least (or just a bit more petite). Nothing against big ol boozums, but makes it harder to appreciate the prettieness when my eyes are pulled down by the gravitational pull of those planets if ya catch my drift.

But absolutely gorgeous nonetheless. Hope ya made some good bucks outa that commission, cause it sure deserves it with that quality.

Looks absolutely gorgeous. Also struck a good ballance of some outer stuff that look slightly blurry in contrast to the center things looking sharper. Helps steer the eyes in the right dirrection.

As for the name thing. Deffinetly get that. Really sucks when people take stuff and post them without permission to hog the views for themselves, without doing any of the work, or not even linking it to where they found it.
I would reccomend a bit more creative approach though. Like develloping a stylish signature to work into your pieces. Sure you did match the text colors with the black and blue from her robe and her hair, but other than that its a bit dull.
Like it might've been cool to have your signature engraved in the arrow that pierced her for example. Maybe even like in a bit of a glowy elf-ish font. Like how the ring in LOTR glowed when it was held in fire.
Just some food for thought. But regardless, always a wise choice to put your name on your work (I also preffer it, so when I do find nice art elsewhere and wanna look up more stuff from the artist, I have a name that I can look up).

Zakuga responds:

I'm always scared to do a fancy name, because I don't want ppl to get distracted by it, but finding something more elegant wouldn't hurt.
