Didn't really get me rolling on the floor laughing. But very impressively done for an animation made with FlipaClip. Don't think I ever seen one made with FlipaClip, that has multiple different angled shots, fully worked out backgrounds, fully voiced and all, the whole shebam.

Well done. Keep it up!

nicolaandfriends responds:

Thanks, Guidodinho!

Yes, maybe it wasn’t that funny, but we’re glad u enjoyed it!

Not THAT relatable, since I don't own a couch... Or a set of big fat juicy donut-thicc lips upon my face.

shweeen responds:

That’s fair. Hope you’ll get there someday.

To add a bit on the last dude, about the pacing. Either things could've been slowed down quite a bit, so most shots could linger a little bit, to let the eyes take in what's going on.
Or you could have left out a lot of material, and saved yourself a lot of work, of adding so much content and details that, go unnoticed because it all goes by so fast.

Its most obvious right at the scrolling shots at the lockers.
You have 2 quick scrolling shots, Where you got a total of 19 completely different characters (not as greatly drawn as in the more detailed still frames, but still with a good amount of effort put into them). And they all zoom by in roughly 3 seconds.

All very nicely done, dun get me wrong, it wasn't lost on me because I looked back and paused it to do so. But all of that hard work will go lost on the avarage viewers. Lots of corners you could have cut for yourself, to save a lot of time and hard work, without losing much or any entertainment value.

But don't mind any of that, if all the extra work was fun to do for yourself.
I just can't imagine anything else but a cruel and long grind, to stay producing, to put in that much content, for shuch a ralatively short duration.
But a very respectable choice nonetheless. And way more fun, for the few people, who do stop and pause to look at all dem details ';3

StudioCatch responds:

Thanks for pausing!

The absolute most swagfull nightmare-fuel I ever did see.

And sorry man. Don't got no band-aids on me. Can you make due with some tape and paper towels?

MaxJohnsonINK responds:

Yeah slap em on. I’ll have a lot of explaining to do at the office today GEEEEE OH BOYYYY GADZOOOKS

Neat little action-packed joke. The dying and respawning wasn't indicated very clearly though. If it wasn't in the title, I would have guessed that one just got knocked out, and some other, similar looking dude, just opened the stall door.
Could've made it much more clear to see whats going on, if the body on the ground sorta faded out (de-spawned). And you would then see some kind of lighting or special effect comming through (or from under) the stall-door, probably with a fitting sort of sound effect too.

DoeDeev responds:

hm, I made the body not despawn to be a bit consistent with the original meme, but I see what you mean

Only got one little practical complaint:
The subtitles can be pretty hard to read. I would reccomend to pick a more chunky and rounded-off type of font. And its pretty handy to color the text according to the colors of the characters who are speaking, but most that is a pretty dark shade, so I have to crank up the brightness of my screen to clearly see the text.
So yeah, some thicker and brighter subtitles would make it easier for the eyes to follow, giving dem eyeballs more time to enjoy all the buttslapping (or licking) action going on.

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

Thanks for the review! Yeah i sure gotta find a solution for that, i think on the next ep it will be fixed, thanks for the heads up!

I think Michael Jackson might've loved the metaverse. The guy even got himself a fake store with actors in it to pretend he had some everyday normal live, without everyone around him going bonkers, seeing a big celebrety, according to some documentary I saw about him.

Anyhoo, was an entertaining viewing/listening, with some good witty points made.

CharlieEmerson responds:

That’s a good point! I did not know he had all that stuff, makes a lot of sense tho!

At first I actually thought you just screen recorded that off of mobile youtube and put in on here, like the most lazy kind of video theft.
Until I saw her fly out her video, i teracting with the UI. Quite clever and charmingly done.

christscicluna responds:

Thanks a lot!
Yeah I'm sure a lot of people will watch the first 5 seconds and close it, but it has to look like a screen recording for the effect to work.

Most memes comming through deserve an insta-blam.
This one was actually animated pretty funny. Nice job.

FireNerd responds:

Thanks

I'm a sucker for cool & silly combat with some creative choreography.
Would've liked to have seen the final lobster stand a bit more of a chance though, for the extra suspence, having him and the crab go over the counters using some more kitchen props allong the way.
Cause the bit were the lobster took off the wraps from his claws, built up some expectations wich were dropped a lil too quickly for my liking (maybe a roundabout way of saying I just wanted more action, but whatever).
Anyhoo, cool enough to pretty much instantly hit replay after the first view.

And did I correctly notice the music was inspired by the Godfather?

Linethickness responds:

that's incredible! thank you for the feedback! I have not made the godfather connection but I will ask my composer! food for thought lol
