[The Tale of Yoshi]

meh...

the idea was good and original but performed pretty bad. The yoshi was drawn poorly, you didn't draw the red spikes on it's head and neck, the shell on his back and his shoes. You could have drawn those even if you were new with flash.
And I really don't get it why you recorded a part of the game.

And you might wanna practice a bit more before submitting your stuff here on newgrounds.

But don't let me discourage you. your ideas are really good, only thing left is the skill so you're half way there.

looks like you really thought about the concept and it worked out awesome.
And it always nice to see a flash that's well synced with the music (you don't see stuff like that so often on newgrounds).

And to make it in only six days!?
Dude, it took me a whole week to do a simple sprite animation and you drew all the stuff yourself and made it that long! (cuz it's pretty long for a flash)
respect man.

I don't really get it...

I think it would be pretty hard to code make and all. but I can't see the code, and even if i could see it, i don't think i would understand a single thing of it.

and there isn't much interresting in it to see either. just some swirling colors (wich would probably be more interresting if you're under influence of something :p) and mario with only his hand and head moving. you could have done more with him: let hem him dance or smoke something.

so my conclusion is: it's pretty cool, but not a single movie, maybe as a preloader or something.
And try to explain something about the coding so more people (like me) could understand it.

all of them were nice and smoothly animated and awesome to watch.
but why only stickmen against tanks? why not another vehicle fighting a tank?
And there was one thing that I really missed: the newgrounds tank!
But I liked where the barrel came from at the last one :p

holy sh*t!!

definetly the best animation with mortal combat and streetfighter sprites i've ever seen! And also the best use of effects i've ever seen in a sprite movie. Seriously man, those effects were awesome, especialy the explosions.

Only one thing I didn't like: chameleon won fair and square against akuma and he still loses because ryu came to the rescue. So it's two against one. I think that was kinda unfair.

but still, it doesn't change the fact that it was completely awesome.

really funny, but i think you could have done better.
And the buildings collapsed, the top didn't simply fall off, or else the buildings would still be there, only shorter :p

awesome!

a few messy parts though: in the first scene mario was nice in pixels but the background was smoothed and you could still see some parts of the spritesheet on sonic.

and I don't really like it that you just copied two scenes of "grand theft mario" and turned them into sprites.

but the fact that it was funny as hell still makes it worth an 8.

if i'd judge on the animation i would've given you a 1 right away. but i loved the way how you pointed out the parts that were really annoying in the series (like the flashbacks, the slow fight scenes etc.) and made it funny.

great job!

it's animated really good, and the story and the action are too.

only a few minor things that i didn't like: the crappy sound quality of the voices and some sloppy parts in the animation, like when the clouds blocked the sun in the first scene.

loved it!!

i usualy don't like the animations where they make mario characters talk, it makes them lose their characteristics.

except for this movie, the voices and accents were so simmilar to the orriginal voices. great job!!
